Xero, QuickBooks and other software options
Xero, QuickBooks (and other options) are cloud-based accounting software packages. Being cloud-based means that we are immediately able to access and support your bookkeeping function when you need us. We can log into your platform and be an integral part of your team.
Our expertise
Alice and Emma are talented in navigating both of the Xero and QuickBooks softwares, including the intricacies of integrated payment systems such as GoCardless.
They are also experienced in using many of the additional functions and apps that are relevant to our clients’ businesses such as PayPal, Stripe and eBay, which is a necessary skill to ensuring all of the functions of a business is integrated seamlessly with the online platforms. This will enable your business to use the software to its full capability for important decision making.

VAT reporting
If your business is VAT registered, we recommend that you have some form of accounting software that enables the filing of VAT returns under the rules for Making Tax Digital.
Even if you don’t wish to use the accounting software yourself, we can be that link between your paperwork and record system that works for you, and the required reporting for your business such as filing with HMRC.
Other useful reports and tools
Most systems also include a project tracker, where you can follow a client from the quote to an invoice, for effective use of time and monitoring your client opportunities. You can also monitor the time and costs spent on each client across multiple teams and set up integrated Direct Debit payment systems.
