Whether you are carrying out your business activities as a sole trader, partnership or limited company, your business is required to prepare business accounts so that these can be reported to HMRC within your own self assessment tax return, or your company’s tax return.
If your business is unincorporated (a sole trader or partnership), you will be required to add additional supporting accounts pages to your self assessment tax return and submit these to HMRC.
If your business is a limited company, the company will be required to file financial statements (accounts) to Companies House to comply with the law and regulations surrounding the Companies Acts. The company is also required to file the financial statements to HMRC, together with a corporation tax return.
We provide accounts preparation services for all types of businesses – from sole trader business accounts to the technicalities of Financial Reporting for companies.
Part of our accounts preparation service includes us getting down to the nitty gritty of how your business works. The time we spend in getting to know your business means that we can prepare your accounts accurately. In knowing your business, we can ensure that your bookkeeping system is in tune with the preparation of your business accounts. Allow us to manage this for you so that you can spend your valuable time running your business.
While managing and supporting your bookkeeping, and preparing your business accounts, we are always on the look out for opportunities for tax planning.
Tax planning and being on the look out for opportunities to minimise tax is in our DNA. This is our standard and not something that we regard as an additional service.
We specialise in small to medium sized businesses and their owners and so if you have a large company business with a turnover of more than £10million, please get in touch.
We have contact with many other accountancy firms, to whom Amanda provides specialist tax advice, and we can put you in touch with a recommended connection.
